![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Photography & Post Production![]() Welcome to Studiof8fx.co.uk home website of commercial photographer Peter Dawson. In an effort to 'unclutter' this website, which is my main gallery site, I have started a new site www.peterdawsonphotography.co.uk which is intended to provide information purely about me. Please click on either the link in this paragraph or go to the 'links' section on this site to visit the site. The reason for the distinction between the 2 sites is; I feel, those who might want to look at or purchase imagery for their home, business or other, probably don’t need quite so much information. Equally, people who want to know about me, my photography and post production work, abilities, rates, clients etc, probably don’t want to trawl through hundreds of landscape images and the like. www.studiof8fx.co.uk is my main website where I sell Limited Edition fine art Giclee´ prints. There are large galleries of images where you can find Landscape, Seascape, Cityscape and still-life photography. All are available to purchase in a variety of sizes and prices and available on Paper or Canvas. Prints and Canvas are ideal for domestic and corporate interior decor and brighten any home or office. There are many large companies that offer prints and canvas pictures for sale but many are massed produced, and I feel, few are of a very high archival standard. When you purchase from a photographer or artist you are also getting something that is unique, not something produced en-masse and hung in hundreds of homes or offices, but an image that has individuality. Many large companies that purchase photography and art for reproduction purposes often pay as little as 8% to the photographer or artist on sales, keeping in some cases as much as 92% - So, by purchasing work directly in this way, you are not just buying a unique and quality image you a helping the individual to make a living from their work - not a large company that doesn’t really care what you buy. As we are in difficult economic times I have drastically reduced my prices on many images within the collections, despite the relatively high prices of archival paper and inks. These prices will inevitably rise as things improve so, now, is a very good time to pick up a bargain. Peter Dawson A member of the Association of Photographers
